Training and Placement Cell


	Training and Placement Cell is an integral part of the institute. The institute has provided complete infrastructure for effective functioning of the cell. Training activities are organized throughout the year in an effort towards preparing the prospective students for the campus selection programmes. The cell keeps on invites various industries and reputed firms for campus recruitment. It modules the engineering grades to young corporals. The cell is sensitized to function all through the year towards generating placement and training opportunities for the students The industries which approach the institute come under the purview of: * Core Engineering industries * IT & IT enabled services * Manufacturing Industries * Consultancy Firms * Finance Companies * Management Organizations * R & D laboratories etc The placement season runs through the course of the year commencing the last week of July through to March. Pre-Placement Talks are also conducted in this regard as per mutual convenience. Job offers, dates of interviews, selection of candidates etc. are announced through the Training & Placement Cell. The Placement Cell is assisted by a committee comprising representatives of students from the under-graduate engineering and post-graduate management streams. The committee evolves a broad policy framework every year besides a set of rules which are inviolable. Students members are closely co-opted in implementing these policy decisions.
